Imagination

When I think back on our days at g-mama's house there are so many memories that come rushing back. The thought of us all together makes my eyes water because I see how much we all have grown. Had it not been for our days off from school at grandma's house, I often wonder how close we would have been. We have seen each other through some of the hardest most difficult challenges in life and have never failed to support one another through it all. Our compassion for others comes from the one person who always put us first and who looked after us with patience despite all of our cat fights and rascal behavior...so enough with the sappy stuff...I'm now an emotional wreck. The one memory that stands out the most is all those times we had to play school, house and restaurant over....and over....and over because there was no television to keep us entertained. I remember "ALWAYS" being the teacher, you would think that after being the teacher so many times I would actually pursue that profession in real life (haha). But, as it turns out I think the no T.V. thing was beneficial to us in the long run because each of us is creative in our own way. I must admit that we turned out pretty darn good and a lot of that is reflected in our childhood. When I think back on those days a smile automatically appears on my face because we had fun, we were together, and we had someone watching us that loved us oh sooooo very much.

  1. Erin, you're so cute, made me a bit vaclemped too reading this!! You're really right about the compassion for others coming from Grandma and I think that not having a TV helped us be creative and bond (and fight lol). Good times, I like recollecting these things..we're all getting old ahhhhh
